The PaycheckPC Program has been specially designed for UCSW-SEIU Local 1000 members.
The intent of the program is to assist UCSW-Local 1000 members and their families in bridging their individual digital divides. PaycheckPC intends to lobby state governments in an effort to abolish costly sales taxes on computers because computers help us learn. Initial product pricing is based on estimates of potential member loan defaults. In this consumer credit market, it is very difficult to offer credit without analyzing credit history reports and applying strict underwriting standards. As the program matures, prices have the opportunity to become continuously discounted when compared with other retailers. Discounts, rebates and special pricing can only be made possible if each member respects the privilege of guaranteed credit and completes full payment of their individual obligations.
Products
All computers offered are assembled in the USA (displays and certain components are not available other than assembled outside of the USA). PaycheckPC will always use best efforts to feature assembled in the USA and union assembled products whenever possible.
Rebates & Discounts
For starters, every participant with a perfect and fully completed collection history, will be given a discount of half of their sales tax paid on their initial purchase to be applied as a credit to their next purchase. Perfect and completed payment histories will earn discounts on future purchases.
